Working together full-time, the ADRC interdisciplinary team of specialists includes board-certified psychiatrists, specially trained and licensed registered nurses, and certified professional counselors. The team works closely with psychologists, registered dietitians, pastoral counselors and physical therapists to assess patient needs and develop personalized treatment plans. Our social services department can provide referrals to community resources for additional help as needed. Sophisticated and close laboratory monitoring for drugs of abuse is a key component of care in the ADRC to assure and document program compliance. **A caregiver in this position works Day/Evening Rotation, from 7:00am - 7:30pm or 11:00am-11:30pm.** A caregiver who excels in this role will: + Provide or assist with patient care under the supervision of an RN. Patient care may include vital signs, weight, assisting patients with personal care and activities of daily living, patient transfers/transport, pulse oximetry, point of care testing, dressing changes, applying external monitoring devices and removing urinary Foley catheter. + Report abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to an RN. + Assist with keeping patients' rooms clean and orderly. Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: + A high school diploma or GED. + Nursing students: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA). + Military experience as a Hospital Corpsman (HM), Combat Medic (68W) or Medical Service Technician (4N0X1) will be considered. Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: + Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA). If you do not hold this certification, you must obtain it during your new hire period. + State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA).
