JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education
Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent GED.
Experience
Minimum of one year experience in customer service setting, preferably six months receptionist experience in health care setting and experience with office equipment. Ability to work independently of others and exercise good judgement. Prior health care experience desired.
Physical

Normal physician office environment. Close eye work. Hearing of normal and/or soft tones. Occasional exposure to hazards. Demonstrate the ability to operate or learn to operate a multi-line phone, copier, fax, standard computer programs such as word. Continuous walking and standing. Frequent bending, stooping, pulling and pushing. Lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs. Pushing and or pulling up to 300 lbs.
JOB SUMMARY
Assist the designated nurse and or physician to complete their non-mission critical clinical duties as such duties relate to movement of the patient through the clinic environment and testing areas. Routinely greet and escort patients. Operate clinic specific software, equipment and assist with vital sign, assimilation according to established clinic protocols. Must have a neat appearance and positive disposition and be able to work well with individuals from varied backgrounds. Must be conscientious, dependable and adhere to the goals and mission of the clinic and medical center. Attendance is an essential function of this job.
