Position Summary

System Float Pool RN’s support the Puget Sound area adult hospitals filling a vital role taking assignments providing coverage for open shifts, leave of absences, call outs or surges in census. The RN-Float Pool provides clinical nursing care to assigned patients, performing related assessments, procedures and treatments, evaluations, patient care plan development/revisions, and education to patient and/or family.  The RN-Float puts the patient first and ensures that high quality care is given to assigned patients by following policies, clinical guidelines, safety systems such as medication scanning and bed alarm use, timely and accurate documentation, core measure compliance and serving as a patient advocate.  The RN-Float makes providing an exceptional patient/family experience high priority.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in nursingAdvanced degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) preferredWashington State Registered Nurse license (RN)Refer to CPR and ALS policy grid for requirementsThree (3) years of experience required

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $41.24 - $75.87 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
