Job Overview:

Under the direction of the Manager, the driver is responsible for transporting, counseling and transporting staff to and from various locations in Hudson County.

Qualifications:

Required:

High school diploma Must possess and maintain a valid NJ State Driver s License. General knowledge of auto mechanics is preferred with the ability to operate a Winnebago-type vehicle safely. Must be willing to work flexible hours and days.Must be willing to travel into the community of Hudson County.

Day 7:00am 3:00pmStatus: Per Diem (Based on need of the department

Essential Functions:

Responsible for transporting Counseling and Testing staff to and from various locations in Hudson County. Responsible for scheduling and maintenance as needed. Responsible for keeping the van clean. Responsible for keeping daily mobile van logs.Attends bi-weekly multidisciplinary staff meetings. Assists with coordinating van repairs. Responsible for completing daily mobile van cleaning. Maintain safe environment during all outreach events. Maintains communication with all agencies for parking purposes. Complies with unit and departmental scheduling guidelines. Responsible for reporting identified safety issues such as hazardous environments, ie, damaged floors, walls, ceiling tiles, unsecured areas in mobile van. Performs other duties as assigned.
