The PDG Initiatives Leader will be responsible for the successful management and delivery of strategic Procurement & Sourcing initiatives and projects, working closely with the Global Supply Chain leadership team to identify specific initiatives required to support the growth of the business.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The PDG Initiatives Leader is responsible for leading and managing initiatives that are key for the success of the business. Maintain and drive focus on KPIs such as:OTD (On time PO placement // On time PO delivery)Supplier Lead TimesPO Cycle TimesCOPQ (Cost of Poor Quality) recoverySupplier Onboarding / BlockingOn time Supplier PaymentsSupplier Performance Scorecards

Collaborate with stakeholders, such as senior management, functional leaders, and IT, to identify, prioritize, drive initiatives, including Lean transformation, tools utilization and simplification.Collect and analyse data to measure the effectiveness of existing Procurement processes to develop sustainable, repeatable, and quantifiable process improvements.Utilise expertise and knowledge of existing Procurement & Supply Chain processes and operating model to help determine the right future design and develop a future state which can be deployed across the function.Use skills in strategic level problem solving in complex environments to determine appropriate Sourcing, Procurement and manufacturing solutions based on sound understanding of the business.Monitor and report on the progress of initiatives providing regular updates to senior management and other stake holders.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

Demonstrated years of Supply Chain and IT related experience in Factory and/or Project environment. CIPS Qualified preferred.Experience in a global manufacturing environment.Experience managing complex projects and programs within Supply Chains, especially within SAP environment.Experience driving high performance and continuous improvement using proven methodologies (e.g. Lean six sigma).Able to drive initiatives to completion and motivate colleagues and peers.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Risk management and mitigation experience.Experience working to KPIs including program progress, benefits, cost.Change management experience.
