Job Description

Onin Staffing is seeking a PE Licensed Electrical Engineer for a manufacturing company in the Bessemer area.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with Sales, Engineers, Revit/CAD operators, and Production staff to complete projects on schedule.Ensure electrical designs meet specifications and code requirements.Interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately.Review and refine designs using Revit/CAD software.Maintain attention to detail, accuracy, and strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and staff.Hands-on electrical experience is a plus.Perform additional duties as needed to support Production.


Work Experience

Requirements:

B.S. in Electrical EngineeringProfessional Engineering (PE) License in Alabama4+ years of electrical design experienceProficiency in designing and troubleshooting both simple and complex electrical systemsExpertise in industrial/commercial electrical design for AC/DC systems supporting protective relays and/or communication equipmentKnowledge of protective relaying schematics and experience with control building or communication shelter designAbility to interpret project specifications and deliver compliant design packages, including accurate bills of materials and technical drawingsSkilled in performing design quality reviews with high attention to detail and accuracyExperience drafting electrical designsSelf-motivated with the ability to work independently to meet project deadlinesStrong written and verbal communication skills for effective client and team collaboration
