Seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager to lead multidisciplinary consulting projects, oversee technical and financial performance, and drive client engagement.
Job Requirements:
B.S. in engineering or related field
Professional Engineer (PE) license
Minimum 5 years of experience in consulting engineering
Previous experience in project management
Multi-state PE registration preferred
Preferred Skills:
Proficiency with project management tools and reporting systems
Strong understanding of engineering scopes, budgets, and timelines
Familiarity with regulatory and compliance standards
Experience with client development and proposal preparation
Ability to coordinate across multiple teams and disciplines
Job Responsibilities:
Project Management
Establish project teams and develop initiation documents, including scope, schedule, and budget
Ensure project implementation follows scope and timelines
Coordinate with other project managers to avoid scheduling conflicts
Provide technical guidance and contribute to project recommendations
Maintain up-to-date project databases for organizational tracking
Oversee report quality and adherence to review protocols
Business & Fiscal Management
Identify and communicate new business or competitive insights
Control project expenses in alignment with approved budgets
Issue project change notices for scope or budget variations
Maximize project profitability through efficient resourcing and pricing
Administrative
Evaluate and manage project staff based on performance and development needs
Relationship Building
Identify and pursue new project opportunities with existing and prospective clients
Maintain regular client contact to assess project performance and explore additional opportunities
Pay Details: $130,000.00 to $150,000.00 per year
