Position Summary We are seeking an Pediatric Dentist who is passionate about patient care, treatment planning, and working in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities + Conduct comprehensive dental exams for infants, children, and adolescents, assessing oral health, growth, and potential issues like tooth decay and misalignment. + Provide preventive care, including cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants, while educating parents on proper oral hygiene and diet for children. + Perform restorative procedures such as fillings, crowns, and pulp therapy, and offer interceptive orthodontic treatments to guide proper development. + Manage pediatric dental emergencies, such as toothaches or trauma, and educate caregivers on at-home care for emergencies. + Utilize child-friendly communication and behavior management strategies, administering sedation or anesthesia when necessary to ensure patient comfort. + Collaborate with healthcare providers and refer patients to specialists for complex treatments beyond pediatric dentistry. + Participate in community outreach and education programs to promote pediatric oral health and preventative care. Expected Competencies + Ability to exercise independent judgment and handle confidential information with discretion. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effectively interacting with patients, colleagues, and staff. + Ability to explain complex medical information clearly to both professionals and the general public. + Exceptional organizational, analytical, and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. + Capable of providing guidance and training to professional and technical staff within the field. + A collaborative approach with a focus on teamwork to achieve positive outcomes. + Innovative mindset to develop and implement improvements in processes and procedures.
