Developmental Pediatrics Advanced Practice Provider

To meet the needs of the region’s children and provide seamless, high quality, comprehensive pediatric care close to home for the children & families of Northern Virginia, Inova Children’s Service Line has recently enlarged its ambulatory network of subspecialists. We are seeking a qualified advance practice provider to join our rapidly-growing team of pediatric specialists as part of the Division of Developmental Pediatrics.

You will support the Inova Children’s Developmental Pediatrics practice in the outpatient setting located on Willow Oaks. 

Responsibilities and Practice Details: 

Home to programs caring for children and adolescents with neurodevelopmental disorders, including cognitive, motor, social, and behavioral needs As part of a team of developmental pediatricians, geneticists, psychologists and allied health professionals the development of the Inova Children’s Autism Center.  Programs and services also include Neurodevelopmental follow-on programs for infants born extremely premature and children who have undergone cardiac surgery or ECMO.  Developmental Pediatrics patients seen in Fairfax, Virginia (proximity to Inova L.J. Murphy Children’s Hospital/Inova Fairfax Hospital) and via telemedicine. Supports learners as part of Inova Fairfax Pediatric Residency Program  Faculty appointment opportunity at University of Virginia Medical School Inova Campus

Our state-of-the-art Pediatric Multispecialty Ambulatory Practice at Willow Oaks is home to Sixteen (16) pediatric specialties, with an additional six specialties ramping up in the next 12-18 months. This practice is across the street from Inova L.J. Murphy Children’s Hospital, a 226-bed children’s hospital at Inova Fairfax Hospital medical campus, located in Northern Virginia. Inova L.J. Murphy Children's Hospital is the only dedicated children’s hospital in Northern Virginia. Requirements:

Maintains current knowledge of, and adherence to, state and federal regulations governing the practice of Nurse Practitioners. Experience in pediatrics preferred.
