The Division of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine at Mayo Clinic Children’s in Rochester, MN is seeking a Pediatric Intensivist to join our team!
Mayo Clinic Children’s is a rapidly growing pediatric center providing care in all aspects of pediatric medicine. Care for pediatric medical and surgical patients is provided in the multidisciplinary PICU and post-surgical cardiac ICU with a combined 1,500 admissions per year. PICU intensivists care for complex medical and subspecialty surgical patients, including transplant and level 1 trauma patients. Primary clinical responsibilities will be in the PICU and pediatric cardiac ICU with the other portion of the position being tailored to your interests, including but not limited to: clinical practice in a secondary pediatric subspecialty (pediatric cardiology, pulmonology, nephrology, neurology, neonatology, among others), research, education (including simulation education), and administrative responsibilities.

Qualifications
Candidates must be board-certified/board-eligible in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine and have excellent clinical skills, including experience and/or interest in pediatric cardiac intensive care. In addition, board-certification in general pediatrics or a secondary pediatric sub-specialty is highly desirable. Must have experience in teaching and clinical, basic, or translational research.

The minimum starting salary for medical specialties may range from $194,250 to $616,000. This range reflects full-time total base compensation prior to consideration of additional experience or duties. Pay for the selected candidate will vary based on specialty, experience, FTE, internal equity, or external market data.
