Job Overview:
As a Pediatric LPN, you will provide rehabilitative nursing care for pediatric patients and their families under supervision in a long-term care facility.

Required:
Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursingNJ LPN licenseAHA BLS ProviderInterpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with othersPhysical stamina and ability to safely lift and move objects and peoplePreferred:
Minimum of one year of nursing experience with rehabilitation and/or pediatric experienceCertifications and Licenses Required:

Shift working, 7:00am 7:30pm36 hours/weekFull-TimeEssential Functions:
Performs and documents nursing care within LPN scope of practice and hospital policies and proceduresNotifies Nurse Manager / Charge Nurse of responsibilities and or changes in patient status. Takes appropriate action including recording and reportingUnderstands the importance the interdisciplinary process. Promotes continuity of nursing care and interdisciplinary interventionsParticipates in patient and family education under supervision of RNRecognizes and respects patient/family rights in a culturally and religiously sensitive environment of careRequests guidance from Manager, RN and other resources when appropriateConsistently appraises clinical performance and learning needs through self-evaluationExhibits consistent professional behavior and is accountable for actions with regard to professional issuesContinual contact with patients, families, visitors and all hospital departments and staffContact with medications, chemicals and equipmentOther Duties:
