General Child Neurology – Position Description
The Herman and Walter Samuelson Children’s Hospital at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore is seeking a General Child Neurologist to join our growing Division of Pediatric Neurology. This is an excellent opportunity offering strong work–life balance. In addition to general child neurology, candidates will be supported in developing a subspecialty clinic in areas such as headache, neurobehavioral disorders, neuroimmunology, neuromuscular disorders, neurogenetics, or movement disorders. Fellowship training in a subspecialty is welcome but not required.
The position offers opportunities for collaboration with the Department of Neurology’s Brain and Spine Program. The ideal candidate will enjoy practicing general pediatric neurology and teaching pediatric residents and medical students. The start date is July 1, 2026, with flexibility to accommodate individual needs. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including wRVU incentive bonus, annual CME support, and potential relocation assistance.
Department of Pediatrics
The Division of Pediatric Neurology is part of the Department of Pediatrics at Sinai Hospital, Maryland’s largest community hospital and a member of LifeBridge Health. The department includes 40 full-time faculty across more than 15 subspecialties. Sinai hosts the only nationally accredited pediatric training program in a Maryland community hospital, with 30 residents. We are also a teaching site for medical students from Johns Hopkins University, Georgetown University, George Washington University, and visiting international programs. Faculty appointments are available through our affiliated medical institutions.
Our Practice
We are a well-established pediatric neurology practice with expertise in general child neurology and epilepsy, and strong ties to the nationally recognized LBH Sandra and Malcolm Berman Brain and Spine Institute. Our modern, well-equipped clinic is easily accessible for patients and families, serving children with a wide range of neurologic diagnoses.
The Herman & Walter Samuelson Children’s Hospital, located on the Sinai campus, supports inpatient and outpatient EMU, a dedicated pediatric hospitalist service, full-time intensive care unit, and comprehensive psychosocial support including child life services.

The hospital is minutes from the Baltimore Inner Harbor, National Aquarium, Hippodrome Theater, Camden Yards, and M&T Bank Stadium. We are also close to Annapolis, the Chesapeake Bay, Washington, DC, and residential communities with excellent public and private schools. This role offers a competitive guaranteed base salary of $220-240K. The base salary is dependent on specialty, board certification & experience, with opportunity for additional incentive compensation if applicable.
