Seeking a compassionate Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to float across multiple MD Kids practices Weekday schedule provided in advance A float position allows you the benefit of seeing how the various clinics operate and caring for different patient demographics Our float clinicians help support the other clinicians by filling in for them while out on leave or PTO; allowing them to enjoy the work-life balance all of our clinicians have come to appreciate.  Base Salary + Productivity + Quality + Annual Float Stipend Must have experience working in general pediatrics

Education, Licensure & Certification 

Advanced Practice Provider Requirements:  

Successful completion of an Accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program   Physician Assistants must have passed the NCCPA certification exam   Nurse Practitioners graduating after July 1, 2006 must be board certified.   Nurse Practitioners must be certified by the ANCC or PNCB   Current, unrestricted license in the state of Texas  Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required
