Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist - Part Time

General Summary

The SLP is responsible for evaluation, creation, and implementation of therapy plans, accurate and reliable data collection, consultation, and training with family and staff. SLPs will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and maintain therapy plans that address all speech and language and/or feeding needs of the clients. Oversight for speech and language direct services will be provided by the Center Lead - Speech and Occupational Therapy.

This is a Part Time position based on client needs and we welcome those applicants as well!

Job Description

Clinicians are scheduled for 30 minute session & guaranteed 15 hours of admin time per week. Completion of documentation for all pre-authorizations, initial evaluations, assessments, insurance reports, and progress reports. Provide individual and group therapy to clients focusing on a variety of areas including: speech, language, feeding, and social skills. Maintain a team-based, collaborative approach for therapy planning and implementation. Evaluate and prepare SOAP notes as well as required reports as dictated by insurance parties per request from parents/guardians. Maintain current certification with IDFPR and with American Speech Hearing Association (ASHA) while abiding by the ethical standards. Provide input and assist in the ongoing growth and development of BY YOUR SIDE. Travel, as necessary, to other centers to deliver and/or assist with training. Uphold and maintain BYS core principles, policies and procedures and ensure HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications:

Speech Pathologists (SLP) requires Licensed and Registered Speech - Language Pathologist in the State of Colorado. ASHA certified Speech Language Pathologist, Knowledge of sensory and behavioral strategies. Strong sense of immediacy, focusing on the task on hand and seeing it through to fruition.
