BayCare is currently in search of our newest Outpatient Pediatric Speech Therapist who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community. The BayCare Kids Specialty Center at Mease Countryside offers a comprehensive range of outpatient rehabilitation services for children and adolescents. Our skilled team specializes in developmental delays, musculoskeletal disorders and neurological disorders. A variety of physician specialties are also available along with dietician services.

Speech Therapist Pool Responsibilities:

Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, voice, fluency, and feeding/swallowing disorders in pediatric patientsDevelop and implement individualized treatment plans based on each child's specific needs and goalsProvide direct therapy services in a clinic-based, outpatient settingEducate and counsel families and caregivers on therapy techniques and home programsCollaborate with other healthcare professionals including occupational therapists, physical therapists, physicians, and school personnelMaintain accurate, up-to-date clinical documentation and progress notesParticipate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to treatment planningThis is an outpatient pediatric position offering a varied caseload with a heavy emphasis on the infant and young child feeding population as well as children on the Spectrum. One to three years' pediatric experience preferred. Bilingual a plus."
