Pediatric Surgical Technician
$60hr LOCAL $2656 total weekly pay = $1200 taxable + $1456 weekly stipends for TRAVEL CAREGIVERS Surgical Tech - Days - Children's WI Surgicenter Contract Length: 26 week contract Start Date: ASAP Guaranteed Hours per Week: 40 hours Primary Location: Children’s Wisconsin – Surgicenter (Greenfield, WI) Shift Requirements: 5-8hr days, M-F Hours normally range from 0700-1530. Occasional late stay (will know in advance if you are scheduled as the late stay person) Float Requirements: Float to CW Milwaukee campus on occasion – happens if census is low. (campuses are within 5 miles of each other). On Call/Call-Back: No Call Call Off: May low census up to 8 hours in a 2-week period. Holiday: No holiday call Required Certifications: AHA BLS, CST, preferred, not required. Minimum Experience: 2+ years experience. PEDs experience, required. Charting/Equipment: System is EPIC Unit Specific Skillset: • 6 ORs • ENT, ortho, urology, gen. surg, plastics, dental (Surg techs do not do dental), eye, P&R (Pain and Rehab – for kids with CP) Hard worker, Resilient and Manages Change well, Social candidates. Scrub Colors: provided by facility Jewelry (body piercing/body adornment): A single small stud is now permitted to be worn in the nose. No other visible body piercings (e.g. tongue, eyebrow, lips and gauges) are acceptable (except ear piercings). Flesh colored or clear piercing plugs may now be worn. **Flu vaccine required. NO EXEMPTIONS** Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where the unit is closed and orientation week.
