This is a full-time position in a soon to be newly constructed clinic that is PCMH certified with a Rural Health Clinic designation. Call is not required, and inpatient pediatric hospital care is optional but can be performed in conjunction with nursing resources. The position will involve management & care of children doing primary care and urgent care, as well as seeing patients with complex medical needs. This role is positioned in a primary care practice and serves as a consultant and pediatric resource for the organization's family medicine physicians. More complex pediatric patients will also be managed in coordination with pediatric subspecialists in the nearby Boise Metro area. The position maintains a close relationship with the Pediatric Residency of Idaho & Full Circle Health and serves as a rural training site for the Boise based pediatric residency. Requirements + Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree. + Successful completion of an accredited ACGME/AOA Family Medicine residency program. + Eligible to obtain Idaho medical licensure to practice medicine, including controlled substance registration with the Idaho Boards of Pharmacy and the DEA. + Eligible to participate and receive payments from Medicare and Medicaid and commercial insurance companies and be free of any OIG exclusions.
