Pediatrics - Neonatology Clinical Faculty (Providence Cedars-Sinai Tarzana Medical Center)

Providence Cedars-Sinai Tarzana Medical Center is seeking a Neonatologist to provide expert care and consulting services in neonatal medicine!

This position is part-time (0.6 FTE) at a level 3 community NICU for a board-certified neonatologist, preferably with at least 2 years NICU experience after fellowship training. Position is ~1080 direct patient care hours.

Clinical responsibilities include coverage of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit providing comprehensive care.

Fosters an environment that supports performance improvement activities within the patient care settings and provides appropriate reports as requested.

Maintains and enhances the support of quality patient care by identifying and implementing strategies working collaboratively with the entire care team.

Provides education to physicians, nurses, and other ancillary medical personnel.

Expected to participate in Research Activities approved by the Chair, to include presentations at national meetings and publications in respected peer review journals.

We offer competitive total compensation that includes pay, benefits, and other incentive programs for our employees.  The total pay range shown takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including knowledge/skills; relevant experience and training; education/certifications/licensure; and other business and organizational factors.  This total pay range includes any incentive payments that may be applicable to this role. We also offer a comprehensive faculty benefits package. 

Pay Range: $284,237 - $486,177 Total Cash Compensation


Qualifications

Medical Degree from an accredited medical school.Board Certification (or eligibility) in Pediatrics and Neonatal/Perinatal Medicine.Unrestricted California license as Physician.Tarzana Medical Center Medical Staff Membership and ability to meet eligibility and credentialing requirements of Cedars-Sinai Medical Care Foundation.Commitment to developing and fostering a multidisciplinary collaborative approach to patient care.Demonstrated competence in continuous quality improvement processes.Evidence of exceptional clinical, and professional accomplishment.Computer competency comprised of a working knowledge of Windows and/or a comparable operating system that sufficiently provides for access to patient and other business information.
