Compensation Range

The base pay scale for this position is $35.16 - $53.71. In addition, this position will be eligible for additional benefits consistent with the role. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to: scope of role, level of experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and subject to Fair Market Value evaluation. The hiring range listed is a good faith determination of potential compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.

What you will be doing

JOB DESCRIPTION

The  Peds ACC manager will oversee the daily operations of the ACC while also spearheading strategic and performance improvement initiatives. The Manager will work closely with pediatric physicians, APP, nurses, office staff, and cross-functional teams to ensure the clinic operates with excellence, efficiency, and compassion. The managers will work to improve access to care in the peds acc while promoting high quality care.

This roles manages the administrative support staff including the Patient Care Coordinator and Medical Secretary.

Job Qualifications

EDUCATION - Required

Bachelors

EDUCATION – Preferred

Masters

Master’s degree desirable (e.g. MBA, MSW, MPH or MHA)

EXPERIENCE - Required

3-5 years

Experience in healthcare, hospitality or related fields required.

Experience- Preferred

5 years experience in healthcare

SKILLS - Required

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Proficiency with MS Office and other related platforms

PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS

Sitting in a comfortable position with frequent opportunity to move about the department and traverse the hospital campus. Examples: executive, management, administrative and secretarial positions.

POSITION & UNIT ACCOUNTABILITIES – AKA Competencies

Oversee daily operations of the pediatric clinic, including scheduling, patient flow, staffing, and resource management.

Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and clinical practice standards.

Continually identify opportunities to optimize workflows to ensure patient-centered service delivery.

 Supervise, mentor, and evaluate administrative staff in the ACC; foster professional development and a culture of teamwork.

Partner with physicians and clinical staff to ensure quality standards and high quality care is consistently met.

Develop and implement metrics to track outcomes and drive continuous quality improvement.

Oversee the care coordination of patients in the Peds ACC.

Adjusts to changing situations and work assignments.
