Roles and Responsibilities
Lead the Test Engineering function at Peebles Test Operation in the effective execution and delivery of development tests to support technical maturation, new product introduction, and other development testing activitiesBlack-dot for Peebles Test Operation development planning function - lead long-term capacity planning, mid-term cell loading, and near term discrete production planning activities. Includes coordinating hard/soft changes, new test technology integration, product control board engagement, and managing prioritization of development work to achieve the best customer outcomesCo-ownership of TEH strategy and planning in coordination with TEH operational leadersProcess tracking, metrics tracking. Could be degreed or non-degreed. Responsible for headcount and various other data collections that are used for ultimate decision makingSupport global cell correlation activities to optimize aftermarket networkManages a small to medium team of senior professionals as well as others to support 24/7/365 operations. Requires specialized knowledge within the function. Influence the development of strategy for the area of responsibility, including control of resources and influences policy formulationActs as a member of the overall Peebles Test Operation senior leadership team, developing site strategy, leading from the front, demonstrating the GE leadership behaviors, and being a FLIGHT DECK practitioner/coach.Interprets simple internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services. Bachelors Degree from an accredited university or college + Minimum of 5 years experience in Test Engineering experience.Desired Characteristics
