Manager Wellness and Recovery Ops, Louisiana Crisis Hub (Peer Support)
Location: Louisiana residency is required. Associates are required to live within a 50-mile radius and a 1-hour commute to our Elevance Health major office (Pulse Point) location in Louisiana. Elevance Health supports a hybrid workplace model with Pulse Point sites used for collaboration, community, and connection.
In-Office Expectation: This position will take part in Elevance Health's hybrid workforce strategy which includes virtual work and 1-2 days physically in office per week.
The Manager Wellness and Recovery Ops, Louisiana Crisis Hub is responsible for providing supervision, leadership and oversight for wellness & recovery operations staff.
How you will make an impact:
Responsible for care coordination and/or care management activities focused on the Wellness and Recovery for individuals.Providing support to individuals reaching out for assistance.Responds appropriately to questions form BH care managers concerning cases and assists correcting non-clinical data entry errors.Responsible for ensuring departmental policies and procedures and contractual requirements are met.Identifies opportunities for engagement of individuals and their families in forming a supportive, recovery network.Prepares and communicates information to appropriate parties.Audits staff to monitor efficiency and compliance with policies, procedures and contract.Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.Minimum Requirements:
Requires a HS diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years experience in an automated customer service environment; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:
Associate’s degree and a minimum of two years’ experience in health services or behavioral health field or in a peer support services role is strongly preferred.Peer support certification in Louisiana is strongly preferred.Knowledge of state and local resources within the BH Community in Louisiana is strongly preferred.Experience as a people-leader, particularly a leader of Peer teams is strongly preferred.Experience working in crisis settings is strongly preferred.Experience working in contact center settings is strongly preferred.Experience developing WRAP or similar care or treatment plans is strongly preferred.Experience developing presentations and presenting to groups is strongly preferred.Experience leveraging Peer principles to inform policy and/or crisis or clinical programs is strongly preferredJob Level:
