We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Lead Architect

In this role you will:

End to End Solution Design : Defining the detailed end to end solution design for products and features in a way that supports the execution of the technology strategy and roadmap, articulating and addressing associated architectural risks, issues and technical debtTranslating the requirements created by business analysts into the architecture for that solution, ensuring the products and services meet the customer needs and expected Business OutcomesEngage with relevant Stakeholders, Platform and Enterprise Architects who inform solution designEnsuring the design of the solutions are cost effective and maintained through the agile development lifecycle, managing the flow of the backlog of design activitiesEnsuring the NFRs are consistently defined and architected into the designRisk Management : Effectively manage escalate risks/issues, to ensure there are no surprises for the PM /or stakeholder where appropriateGovernance: Ensuring the architecture undergoes appropriate level of assessment at the right stage throughout the agile process in line with the relevant governance process ensuring adherence to Decision Driven Design and the Solution Architecture FIMProduction of relevant risk based architecture deliverables are completed in accordance with Architecture governance process and quality standardsAppropriate level of governance for any decisions when deviating from Reference Architectures, Strategies, Patterns or PoliciesPeer review and solutions design decision making verification and traceabilityArchitecture Mind Set : Collaborating with the Enterprise, Platform and Value Stream architects to evolve the architectural strategy and roadmap; looking for opportunities to improve the current landscape/enterpriseIdentify dependencies across multiple Platforms and Value Sub-Value Streams; awareness of projects/strategies outside of the Value StreamDeveloping and growing a skillset to design for cloud and for resilient, robust, secure, adaptable and flexible solutionAct as interface to other architectural groups both regional and at Group levelLeadership : Providing leadership with individual PODs or working with a number of PODs to ensure consistency of direction

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

Essential to have strong Pega Customer Decision Hub (CDH) experienceWider industry experience of Customer Decisioning/Marketing solutions (e.g. Teradata)Google Cloud Platform experience would be strong advantage given planned Pega deployments on CloudStrong integration architecture skills to integrate Pega CDH with digital (Mobile, Web) and staff channels (CRM, Contact Centre etc)Ability to provide standard industry security patterns (e.g, oAUTH) and designsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsCapability to influence and champion new ideas and technical direction within the organizationAbility to collaborate with the Business and Engineers to ensure solutions adhere to principles and direction setAbility to breakdown non-functional requirements into Infrastructure and Security designsExcellent Communication skills and the ability to adapt verbal and written communications to the appropriate audience to communicate at the right level Responsible for significant architectural decisions and provide justification for decisions takenTechnical and business stakeholder management from developers to executive managementAwareness of Infrastructure Design and conceptsAwareness on Integration concepts, techniques and patterns.
