Responsibilities
Our client is seeking a skilled Pega Developer to join their team! In this role, you will support an ongoing project with a federal agency to build customized solutions for their Pega 8 platform.
Work with the senior members of the team and end users to analyze business requirements, translating those requirements in to customized solutions using the Pega 8 platformImplement Pega solutions that adhere to platform best practicesAssist the Lead Pega Developer with development work streams, from design through testing and deploymentResponsible for coding and unit testing using Pega OOTB features based on the design provided by the Lead Pega DeveloperMaintain effective client relations and rapport - delivering timely and relevant information with the ability to quickly identify and report project risksAssists client teams in supporting the live application and perform handoff and knowledge transfer activities, positioning our clients for long term successRequirements
2+ years of experience with the following is required:Knowledge in design, architecture, development and administrationMonitor existing systems for structural integrity
Support the development and installation of new hardware and software
Install and configure operating systems and other software and routinely test installed software for glitch detection and other issues
Provide technical direction to IT support staff as needed
Design and implement security systems and redundant backups to maintain data safety
Write custom scripts to reduce the need for human intervention along with creating scalable, automated solutions for the customer base
Establish multi-platform versions of the software package
Write tests for existing and created code to ensure compatibility and stability
Evaluate, recommend, and implement automated test tools and strategies
Design, implement, and conduct test and evaluation procedures to ensure system requirements are met
Evaluate hardware and software and resolve
Ability to resolve LAN/MAN/WAN network related problems
Preferred Requirements
Possess one of the following certifications: CSA (Certified System Architect), CSSA (Certified Senior System Architect) is highly preferredPega 8 experience is preferredPrevious Consulting or client service delivery experienceSpecialization in functional area (CRM, deployment, etc.) or industry domain expertiseA Bachelor’s degree along with 5+ years experience is highly preferredEducation/Certification Requirements
