We are looking for you, if you:

are a Pega Certified Lead System Architect or an experienced Senior System Architect (minimum 5 years experience in a PEGA hands-on role),have strong expertise in core Java,have end to end experience in the design and implementation of PRPC-based applications,are well versed with class hierarchy, ruleset hierarchy, data layer, flows, flow actions, work baskets, deployment,are strong in Integration components - you have experience with SOAP and RESTful web service implementations, Kafka.

Required English level: B2

You'll get, extra points for:

experience with React and Web-Component front-end skills,strong understanding of deployment architecture of Pega (Pega-Ops skills),scalability and Performance tuning the application, App server and database,knowledge of Agile/SCRUM,experience with working in an international environment.

Your responsibilities:

provision of the COE service for the PEGA platform,development of effective applications, their optimisation and implementation,choosing the right solutions, in line with security requirements and good practices,review and offer consultancy to the consumers on how to enhance existing applications with minimal tech debt,supporting the customer with experience and knowledge of the platform.

Banking has changed dramatically over the past years. With ING’s Think Forward Strategy, we are creating a differentiating customer experience, we are providing a Process Automation Platform (using Pega software) 40+ countries to enable our strategic ambitions.
The purpose is to productize our process automation capabilities to the rest of ING word wide. The Process Automation Platform/One Pega Platform provides a standard and easy way to digitize processes and providing process automation capabilities like workflow management using Pega BPM software. Part of our Platform as a service model, we are providing to our customers services like: Software reusable components, Infrastructure, Life cycle management, Pipelines, Self service capabilities, and Architectural designed guidance, in order for them to build on top of the Platform their customer journey applications, helping them with the heavy lifting of the activities that are not a differentiator in their value proposition and providing them with great opportunities for re-use cross teams, domains and countries.

The role naming convention in the global ING job architecture will be “Engineer IV”.
