To be successful as a Pega Developer you should have experienced with:

Experience on PEGA 8 with overall 5-6 years of experience .Strong in pega based application development.Must have prior experience in REST/SOAP web services.Strong understanding WAS, JBoSS and Tomcat servers.Good knowledge on pega reporting, process flows.Experience in creating background process jobs in pega using queue processors & job schedulers.Experience in creating Declarative rules like declare expressions , decision trees & tables, Datapages.Experience in working on Pega BIX.Experience in handling session management with cookies disabled, error handling and Database threading, using load balancers and single-sign-on like webseal integration.Knowledge on HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.Experience in writing Activities, data transform, functions.Experience using pega unit testing and scenario testing frameworks.SQL query writing using Teradata and Oracle would be added advantage.

Ensuring that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations and actively contribute to the organization’s technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth.Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.
