Key Responsibilities
Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain Pega applications, focusing on creating robust workflows, user interfaces, and business logic.Feature Ownership: Independently manage components of projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope.Optimization: Optimize Pega applications for performance, scalability, and maintainability, applying best practices and industry standards.Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.Collaboration: Work closely with Customer Journey Experts (CJEs), Architects, and other stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into effective Pega solutions.Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to junior developers, fostering a collaborative and educational environment.Key Capabilities/Experience
Proven experience with Pega development, with a solid understanding of Pega rules, classes, flows, and data structures.Experience with designing and implementing Pega Case TypesKnowledge of Pega integration techniquesUnderstanding of Pega case management and workflow principlesExperienced in Agile / Scrum / DevOps projectsHave great analytical skills and have a conceptual / architectural understandingExperienced working in a complex, regulated environment such as a large financial institutionMinimum Qualifications
3-5 years of hands-on experience in Pega DevelopmentPega Certification: Certified System Architect (CSA) / Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) – preferred but not mandatoryFluent in English speaking and writing and a good communicator in generalAble to bring all ideas/opinions to one conclusion to help make decisions.Up to date with new Technology and have a deep understanding of when to use itHumble in approach and not afraid to be wrongProud of what they do and enjoy sharing this with your external network
