Pelvic Floor Specialist - Physical Therapist
Job Summary Evaluates and treats patients recovering from injury, disease, surgery, or other ailments. Establishes treatment plans and treats patients using a variety of methods, including exercises, stretching maneuvers, hands-on therapy, and equipment to ease patients' pain and help them recover. Works cooperatively with physicians, case managers, and insurance adjusters. Documents and reports on patients' progress. May supervise physical therapy assistants, aides, and athletic trainers. Requires a doctorate degree in physical therapy. Requires state license to practice physical therapy. Typically reports to a manager. Regulatory Requirements Doctorate in physical therapy or relevant equivalent post-secondary education to achieve licensure. Licensed Physical Therapist in good standing with the State of Ohio. Current BLS Language Skills Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing. Additional languages preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills. Skills Self-directed, motivated individual Excellent computer skills
