Summary:
Penfolds seeks a passionate, collaborative, and creative Senior Brand Manager to join our team. In this role, you will set growth ambition, optimize the product portfolio, as well as create, develop, and implement key marketing initiatives for Penfolds in the Americas region. This role works closely with other TWE leaders across Marketing, Trade Marketing, Sales, DTC, Supply, and Winemaking.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership Establish and lead cross-functional teams Instill behaviors of a luxury brand, setting expectations at all touch points Drive decisions and outcomes across a matrix organization and export markets Serve as a brand ambassador in terms of activations, account support, business plans and product knowledge
Business Management & Strategy Development Works closely with our global brand to team implement global strategies into Americas market Identify growth drivers and white space opportunities to maximize brand potential Actively seek financial step-change opportunities; develop/gain approval for plans & execute Influence Executive Management on company budget, planning and forecasting processes Manage leadership of business/market problems and opportunities by working with management and sales team to resolve pricing, distribution, supply, production, and promotion issues Maintain high standards by appropriately driving quality, speed & cost management across tasks. Demonstrate multiple project management excellence, identify executional problems quickly and implement solutions. Marketing Thought Leader: drive long-term thinking for Penfolds focusing on broad business outcomes
Consumer Insights, Category Knowledge and Product Expertise Extract insights from a wide range of data to inform business decisions, create opportunities for growth, and anticipate future trends Provide ongoing channel analysis and lead recommendations to understand and/or change brand category trends
Analysis and Problem Solving Influence Executive Management on appropriate analytics to use to assess segment or portfolio Mentor others on the correct analytical thought process; sought after by others as someone who can be a resource for teaching analytical skills
Integrated Marketing and Innovation Develop annual luxury activation plan including platforms aligned with brand positioning, marketing mix that creates memorable and profitable wine experiences and enables activation in store Brief agencies and be accountable for creative output for all brand messaging Initiate and manage new product development Maintain high level of execution across all materials in line with Penfolds expectations
About you:
We are searching for a dynamic, highly creative business savvy professional with at least 5 years of progressive experience across Brand Management with a focus on luxury brands. Ideally, you come from the CPG, luxury retail, or wine industry and have demonstrated brand management capabilities with national brands and deep knowledge of retail channels. Additional requirements include:
Demonstrated analytical skills, as well as exceptional verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated leadership and influential capabilities Ability to lead agencies in creating consumer (adv., on-line, PR, etc.) and retail programs Ability to develop and mentor team Technically savvy with high proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint and facility with on-line database applications (e.g., IRI, Dunnhumby). Ability to work under pressure while managing multiple projects under tight timetables while managing multiple projects.

Pay Transparency Disclosure: The base pay range offered for this position is $141,000 - $150,000 per year plus yearly bonus. These figures represent what we reasonably expect to pay for this position, but the actual compensation offered will depend upon numerous job-related factors, including but not limited to candidate qualifications, skills, experience, education, location, and alignment with market data. Our expectation is that the incumbent will work out of Napa, CA. If the incumbent works out of another location, the wage rate may fall above or below this range. Treasury reserves the right to modify the range in the future.
