**Your role and responsibilities**
As a Pension Professional responsible for Germany pension plans as process owner, you will be responsible for the delivery of pension plans. In addition to this you will be responsible for validating correct contributions levels on a monthly basis and dealing with both basic and complex employee questions on eligibility and contributions. You will work closely with Vendors, local German teams (payroll, finance, HR, legal, etc.) as well as with other IBM Pension/Benefit teams, and other IBM functions. You will be keen to grow in the role and look for innovative solutions to complex challenges.
You will be working in a hybrid working model with a requirement to work from the office at least once per week.
* Process retirement procures in accordance with Germany and IBM’s regulations
* Explain retirement schemes to employees in a clear and concise manner
* Answer to the requests of employees, former employees or their beneficiaries linked to retirement process, pension schemes, service time
* Collaborate with payroll department for payments and deductions
* Work closely with finance and business departments
* Provide ideas for process simplification and automation
**Required technical and professional expertise**
* Fluency in German and English (both verbal and written)
* Excellent organizational skills
* Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to interact regularly with HR Benefits and business management (internally and externally)
* Strong team spirit
* Ability to work independently
* Proof of Criminal Background Check is clean
**Preferred technical and professional experience**
* Solid understanding of different pension and benefits plans (retirement schemes, health & life insurance etc.)
* Proficient in MS Office & HR systems and tools
* Experience in working in a service driven, customer focused environment
* Familiar with HR systems and tools and related control requirements
* Have relevant experience in Business and/or Human Resources
