Within the Finance Department, we are looking for a dedicated and team-oriented new colleague to join the Market Risks and Pensions Team we are building for Opella. In that respect, we are very much attached to find a candidate with a strong sense of commitment, towards the tasks, the business and the team. The role of Pension Finance Lead within the Opella Treasury organization emerges as an important position. This role offers a fascinating opportunity to coordinate and manage pension governance as well as broader finance and investments dimension of pension arrangements of Opella around the world. We are working closely with multiple internal and external stakeholders. Within the team, you will coordinate and monitor Pension Finance and Investment activities within the Opella Group worldwide. Your role will support local and global Finance and P&C Benefits teams to deliver efficient and effective retirement provision across Opella.

As Opella. Pension Finance Lead, you will report to Opella. Head of Market Risks and Pensions based in France.

Your main responsibilities

Coordinate and manage pension governance framework at the corporate and country level working closely with main stakeholders from P&C, Legal, other Finance teams and functions;Act as an in-house investment expert to committees in France (PerCol), US (401(K)), Germany (CTA) and in other countries to ensure smooth running of all matters related to investments; this includes formal committee roles in fiduciary capacity where appropriate;Develop and implement Global Guidelines for Pension Finance within the framework of Treasury Policies and Guidelines;Manage legacy Defined Benefit plans with appropriate funding and de-risking strategies as well as Defined Contribution arrangements to maximize outcomes (Value for Money) for Opella employees;Manage third party relationships with external providers on behalf of fiduciary committees and Opella group as plan sponsor, optimize services and fees leveraging the scale of Opella pension assets globally; Support IAS19 closing process coordinating third party actuaries and working closely with Accounting and Consolidation teams;Provide management reporting to Group Pension Committee, Group CFO and Treasurer on a regular basis;Manage all cash transfers with Treasury teamBuild Budget and BP, with quarterly follow-up and reforecastsManage pension related projects in the context of M&A, regulatory changes or evolution of the Opella pension arrangements;

About you

University Degree or equivalent;CFA qualified or equivalent.At least 8 years of experience in Pension Finance and/or Investments working with a plan sponsor, asset manager or in pension consulting.Fluency in English and French is required. Fluency in German is beneficial.

Skills

Demonstrated deep knowledge of institutional investments and occupational pensions in an international context e.g. ALM, SAA, DC strategy design and risk management;Experience with independent (pension) committees and ability to find compromise solutions and generally manage groups of experienced individuals towards desired outcomes with tact, finesse and a deep sense of awareness;Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including an ability to work across borders, cultures and within multi-disciplinary teams;Proven track record of stakeholders and project management across complex global organizations;Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills;The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment;Aptitude for analytical work, both quantitative and qualitative;Attention to detail and accuracy;Strong project management and technical skills including working experience of major Microsoft tools;The ability to build strong networks and utilize Business Acumen.
