DescriptionAs People Administrator, you’ll be a key member of our team in helping to create a positive employee experience for our colleagues. In this operational role, you will support across a wide range of People activities and projects, underpinning this will be People Systems Administration. We are a busy team with several exciting projects on the go. Our team works on everything from pay and reward, talent management and employee experience to resourcing and people analytics so you will gain exposure to several people activities to help your development as a People professional. The role requires someone who is detailed-orientated, committed to delivering high quality work, and enjoys working with information and data. This is a great opportunity for an established People Administrator who is seeking a role that offers variety, impact, and the opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary People Team.
Key ResponsibilitiesThis operational role will focus on four key areas. \nPeople Systems Administration
\n\nCollaborating with the People team and internal stakeholders to determine HRIS needs. \nDeveloping and implementing new processes and systems for efficient People management practices. \nAnalysing performance of our HRIS and resolving application issues. \nCreating user accounts, managing access levels, and updating and maintaining employee information. \nProvide new joiner training and technical support. \nMaintaining and analysing data, ensuring data integrity and running queries. \nConduct regular audits of People processes, documentation and data. \n
People Administration \nOversee the processes and all related administrative work relating to joiners, movers and leavers. \nAdminister the annual cycle of people activity including performance and goal setting, employee surveys and reward and benefit activity, monitoring completion. \nAssist with new colleague orientations (pre-boarding and onboarding activities). \nProduce monthly payroll reports ensuring that all changes within the month are accurately captured and provided to the payroll team in a timely manner. \nEnsure that cyclical checks are monitored and undertaken on time including DBS and Fit and Proper checks. \nSupport changes to improve our hiring, onboarding, and induction processes. \nManagement of central inboxes ensuring queries are responded to in a timely manner. \n
\n People Support and Advisory Provide policy advice and support to managers about onboarding, probation, flexible working requests, family friendly leave and absence queries, escalating matters where required. \n
Talent and Recruitment Administration
\n\nCarry out a range of administration tasks to support our hiring process which include posting adverts, screening and shortlisting applicants, coordinating interviews, sending assessments and maintaining the Applicant Tracking System. \nProduce talent and recruitment reports. \n\nWhat success looks like:
\n\nAccurately maintaining our HRIS and any other records \nProducing well written and accurate documentation \nResponding to and resolving queries in a timely manner \nImproving and helping to optimise our people processes \nEffectively administering and coordinating annual cycle activity \nEnsuring compliance with our policies and procedures \nPositive feedback from our colleagues and stakeholders \nWorkload is managed efficiently in line with KPIs and SLAs\n
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise\nPrevious HR and recruitment administration experience (preferably 2 years+) \nExperience of supporting and administering a variety of people activity \nGood understanding of HR practices and an awareness of UK employment law \nBenefits administration would be desirable \nDemonstrable experience of using HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems (BambooHR and PinPoint experience would be advantageous) \nTech savvy with advanced word and excel skills \nA team player committed to achieving collective success \nMethodical, highly organised and detail orientated \nSupportive, collaborative and approachable \n\n
