Summary

 The People Analytics Lead is responsible for driving impactful, data-driven decisions that enhance employee satisfaction and business outcomes and help guide the Human Resources (HR) function. Develops and implements advanced analytical tools and insights. Leverages deep expertise in statistical analysis, data visualization, and people analytics to support strategic initiatives and guide senior leadership through complex data stories. 

Responsibilities

Analytics Leadership and Strategy:

Develop and execute a long-term roadmap for people analytics, focusing on high-impact data products and insights.

Collaborate with HR Business Partners and cross-functional teams to prioritize analytics needs and foster a culture of strategic data utilization.

Lead and manage people analytics projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and business needs.

Data Analysis and Visualization:

Design, create, and maintain people data products, including reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using tools such as Tableau, Looker, and Google Sheets.

Apply advanced statistical methods (e.g., regression, correlation, decision trees) and qualitative techniques to uncover trends, patterns, and insights.

Develop and implement ETL processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

Collaborative Problem Solving:

Build and nurture relationships with HR leaders and business teams to understand their challenges and deliver actionable insights.

Present complex data findings and recommendations to senior leadership, translating technical details into clear, strategic narratives.

Foster a culture of analytics self-service by developing scalable analytics products and training teams on data utilization.

Data Management and Innovation:

Establish and maintain robust data management practices to ensure the accuracy and security of sensitive employee information.

Drive innovative analytics solutions and predictive models to support strategic HR initiatives and improve business operations.

Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in people analytics and integrate these into current practices.

Reporting and Communication:

Design, execute, and analyze employee surveys, translating results into actionable insights for organizational improvement.

Prepare and present comprehensive reports and visualizations that effectively communicate key findings and strategic recommendations.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a quantitatively-based field such as Economics, Psychology, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.

7-10+ years of relevant experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field.

5-7+ years of domain experience in people analytics, HR analytics, or a related area.

Proficiency in statistical coding languages and tools such as SQL, R, Python, Looker, and Tableau.

Strong leadership and organizational skills

Strong expertise in data visualization and information design principles.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data insights to non-technical audiences.

Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

Graduate degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in a relevant field.

Experience with HR technology and tools such as OneModel or Visier.

Demonstrated experience in developing comprehensive reports, dashboards, and metrics.

Familiarity with additional data technologies such as Power BI and Google Business Suite.

Experience in a high-growth or tech environment with a flexible and adaptable approach to changing priorities.
