People Business Partner Associate

This is a role for a HR professional experienced in the strategic people business partnering world. With coaching and guidance from a strategic People Business Partner, the People Business Partner Associate will lead, support and influence the growth of leadership capability, organizational change management and improve processes that scale people practices for the future. This individual will communicate needs proactively and formulate partnerships across the People function to deliver value added service to management and team members that reflect the core values of the organization. 

Let’s talk about Responsibilities:

Strategic HR Partnership: 

Collaborate with business leaders and Strategic People Business Partner to identify HR priorities and develop solutions that drive business performance. Provide expert advice on HR matters such as workforce planning, organizational design, and succession planning. Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, offering insights on HR trends and best practices. 

Talent Management: 

Lead talent acquisition efforts to attract top talent. Implement talent development programs to support employee growth and career advancement, including training initiatives, mentorship programs, and leadership development. Develop and maintain a robust succession planning framework to ensure a pipeline of future leaders. 

Employee Relations: 

Act as a trusted advisor for employees and leaders on all HR-related matters, including conflict resolution, performance management, and career development. 

Organizational Development: 

Drive and lead change initiatives that develop and articulate a vision, is aligned with stakeholders and is centered around a comprehensive communication plan Create workforce plans that align with the organization’s strategic goals. Assess current workforce capabilities and future needs, forecast workforce requirements, and identify skill gaps. As well as ensuring that workforce plans are within budget and enable the best optimization of resources. Continually review organization effectiveness and provide insight and recommendations for improvements in structure, processes, and culture. 

Culture and Engagement: 

Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture that aligns with our company values and mission. Partner with leaders to develop and implement employee engagement programs to enhance team member satisfaction, motivation, and retention. Lead diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives to promote a diverse and inclusive workplace.  

​Thought Leadership: 

Bring and build thought leadership to help influence and drive the business and people strategy and priorities 

HR Analytics: 

Utilize data and analytics to drive HR decisions and measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives. Provide expert advice, coaching, and counsel to leaders and employees on People programs, policy and procedures, employment/labor laws, conflict resolution, change management, diversity, and organizational development and design to promote a fair and equitable work environment. 

Compliance: 

Maintain current and complete understanding of Federal and State laws including case law and regulations such as Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, FLSA, ADA, FMLA, ADEA, NLRA, etc.; protects company's interests by ensuring all legal requirements for equal employment and compliance are met by keeping informed of changes 

Work collaboratively with the People Specialist groups 

Performs other related duties as required and assigned.


Let’s talk about Qualifications and Experience
Required:

A bachelor's degree and/or substantive experience in progressive Human Resources environments required HR Professional certification and PHR/SPHR preferred Ability to work well under pressure and flexible in adapting and responding to changing situations. Ability to work independently, but a strong effective team player; commitment to results; solutions oriented; superior organizational skills and ability to multi-task Excellent written and verbal communication skills - ability to present, train, influence, and negotiate. Strong interpersonal and business partnering skills: effective partnering with key stakeholders to influence and problem solve. High-level of personal integrity and confidentiality Demonstration of a global mindset that is both cultural aware and sensitive, open mindedness and adaptability in conjunction with an innate passion for curiosity and continuous learning Ability to demonstrate systems thinking by recognizing the interconnectedness and interrelationships across business practices and structures as well as being able to balance both a macro and micro view of key business problems and priorities. Sound business acumen that demonstrates the understanding of key financial principles, using financial data to guide decisions and an overall awareness of both the internal and external factors that impact and drive profitability of the business / team portfolio.
