People Business Partner - (west coast or mountain region)

The People Success Center (PSC) manages transactional, administrative, and standardized HR services through a centralized team, to allow CPO Specialists to devote their time to more specialized and strategic activities. It also provides advice and user support across the Organization on the use of HR systems. The consolidation of administrative functions allows support to be delivered in a cost-effective manner, promoting operational efficiencies, process, and system improvements.

The Human Resources Manager, People Success Center is expected to have a foundation for HR operations, with a wide breadth of knowledge standard HR processes, and ability to handle complex employee relation issues. This position supports the strategy of the PSC and delivers professional level HR services to the business.

Essential Job Functions: 

Advises or explains various human resources guidelines, policies, and procedures; assists in development and implementation of policies and procedures. Participates in developing department goals, objectives, and systems. Advises/oversees annual performance management process. Partners with leaders on colleague changes such as promotions, transfers, or other. Advises and/or mediates colleague relations issues. Assist managers with colleague underperformance. Conduct and manage employee relations investigations. Consults on escalated associate relations complaints or issues. Advises others on legal or regulatory compliance matters. Liaise between departments or other groups to improve function or communication. Conducts HR related training both interdepartmental and field based. Act as an advisor to L2 with complicated associate relations issues. Completes trend analysis and recommends procedural changes to improve PSC efficiency and ensures appropriate implementation of decisions made by senior management. Advise managers and employees on HR policy application or review exception requests. Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications, Education, & Experience:

General knowledge of employment laws and best practices. Effective oral and written communication skills Able to work independently with minimum supervision. Able to work remotely Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Staffing, or a related field.

 

The anticipated annual base salary for this position in the US is $ 75,000-85,000

This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
