About the Job:
The People & Culture Business Partner is the HR business partner for the Software Engineering and Site Reliability Engineering teams within the Digital & Technology organization, supporting teams across KFC, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, and The Habit Burger Grill.
This high-impact role drives business success by aligning people strategies to enterprise priorities and fostering an environment where culture, capability, and performance thrive. As a member of the People & Culture team, you’ll partner with functional leaders to influence workforce strategies, shape organizational design, and cultivate high-performing, inclusive teams. You'll also play a key role in building the leadership pipeline, embedding our leadership behaviors, and driving transformation across the enterprise tech space.
Reporting to the Director, People & Culture for the Digital & Technology division, you will act as an advisor, trusted coach, and enterprise connector.
What You’ll Do
Manage Talent (40%)
Serve as an advisor and thought partner to leaders within these tech functions (serving all 4 iconic brands) Drive the Building People Capability lifecycle for these functions (goal setting, Individual Development Planning, Bench Planning, Pay for Performance Calibration) Lead onboarding experiences for new hires and ensure seamless transitions for internal talent moves Partner with Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, and Org Development teams to align strategies Navigate employee relations issues, PIPs, investigations, and exits with care and complianceDevelop People (25%)
Partner with leaders to identify and develop emerging talent Collaborate with COEs to design learning opportunities and career pathing Provide coaching to managers and team members to build leadership and communication skillsDrive Organizational Effectiveness (25%)
Guide organizational design and structure in support of business needs Co-lead employee engagement surveys and action planning Stay informed on HR and talent trends and bring outside-in thinking to the teamSupport the People & Culture Team (10%)
Provide support for team processes like reporting, system updates (Oracle), and org charts Identify and improve broken or inefficient systems, tools, and workflows Collaborate cross-functionally with other HR partners to share best practices and strengthen team capability Update people systems as needed and maintain team Org Charts.KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s degree required in Human Resources Management or related field 5+ years of progressive HR experience; generalist background preferred PHR or SHRM certification is a plus Experience supporting tech teams is a bonus Strong coaching and client consulting skills Proven results in building client partnerships and leveraging processes and tools to drive work to closure Strong understanding of HR policies and practices Lead as a culture champion and create passion in others for living our cultureWORKING RELATIONSHIPS:
