As the HR Business Partner (HRBP), you will guide Compass’s people strategy to support the business strategy. You will play a critical role in providing support and coaching to both our business leaders and employee base. You will serve as the subject matter expert in people decision frameworks, understanding the overall goals of the organization you support and its leadership to shape people policies, procedures, and resources to help reach the desired business outcomes. 

You will be instrumental in building our growing company and HR function, championing our values and ensuring that Compass is a great place to come to work everyday. 

At Compass You Will:

Be a strategic and trusted advisor to the business that you support, and serve as a key member of the business leadership team. You will serve as a thought partner and advisor to leaders as they navigate difficult employee issues, helping to mitigate risk, and ensuring a collaborative employee/employer experience. You will serve as a bridge between the business, HR Centers of Excellence (Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting, HR Operations), and internal stakeholders (Legal, Payroll, FP&A).   Roll out programs and processes including performance management, annual performance reviews, compensation planning, talent reviews, succession planning, employee engagement and retention, key employee metrics, and more. Coach employees to assist them in their development, career planning and resolving challenges. Build compliance into all we do, including maintaining in depth knowledge of company policy and processes and legal requirements. Help drive and embed diversity practices into all that we do.

What We're Looking For:

BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience Minimum 5+ years of HR experience (i.e. HR Generalist, HR Business Partner, Employee Relations Associate)  Workday experience is a plus Experience in Mergers & Acquisitions is a plus Operational Excellence Knowledgeable about policy and compliance - builds compliance into all we do, seeks to understand precedent  Program and project management experience - drives critical projects and initiatives from conception to completion Leverages data insights in decision making - shares and uses data effectively to demonstrate risk areas within the organization   Strong business acumen - Understands organizational dynamics and can communicate with senior leadership effectively. Anticipates business needs to build out proactive strategic solution Agile. You’re an expert multi-tasker, independently prioritizing and ensuring all needs are met. The base pay range for this position is $110K-$125K annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Bonuses and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of benefits. Base pay is based on market location. The minimum wage for the position will always be met.
