People & Culture Manager

Full-time Colombo, Sri Lanka

 

The People & Culture Manager supports business operations by working closely with management and employees. This role includes managing compensation and benefits, such as EPF, ETF, and insurance, while ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies. The People & Culture Manager also provides guidance on regulations, maintains accurate records, oversees system administration, uses analytics for decision-making, and mentors the People & Culture team to drive organizational success.

 

As a People & Culture Manager, you will

Oversee onboarding processes, ensuring a seamless experience for new hires, including personal file management. Oversee payroll processing, salary benchmarking, salary proposals, annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and time & attendance management. Manage employee benefits programs, including staff insurance, EPF, and ETF processes. Advise employees on policies, legal regulations, and best practices. Stay updated on labor laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and timely policy updates. Maintain accurate and accessible policies, procedures, and literature for employees and management. Provide leadership, mentorship, and coaching to P&C team members to achieve business and personal growth objectives. Administer and optimize the HRMS system to streamline P&C operations. Utilize HR analytics and insights to identify opportunities, address challenges, and drive strategic P&C initiatives

 

About you

Master's in HRM or an equivalent HRM professional qualification Over 10 years of experience in Human Resource Management, with a solid background in Compensation & Benefits management Minimum of 2 years of experience in a managerial role Proficient in handling HRMS systems, preferably SAP, within a large organization Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office environment Well-versed in applicable employment laws and compliance requirements Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
