About the role: The People Data Management Lead will play a critical role in managing and optimizing our people data infrastructure, ensuring data accuracy, compliance, and security. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of data governance principles. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex data projects in HR, leading cross-functional teams, and driving continuous improvement in data management practices. Key responsibilities: + Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive data governance framework that aligns with company objectives and industry best practices. + Develop and maintain a comprehensive HR Data Dictionary to ensure consistent understanding and usage of data terminology and definitions across the organization. + Lead data governance initiatives to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all HR systems. + Collaborate with Local HR, HR Operations, HR IT, and other stakeholders to identify data quality issues and implement effective solutions. + Work with HRIS team, GPO, and other stakeholders to identify and implement best practices to govern the flow of data (integrations, interfaces, bulk feeds). + Manage data audits and compliance reviews to ensure adherence to data governance policies and regulatory requirements. + Ensure data retention laws and policies are adhered to, and leverage supporting technology. + Oversee the design and execution of data management processes, including data collection, storage, and analysis. + Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in data governance and recommend improvements to existing processes. + Act as the primary point of contact for data governance matters and provide expertise and guidance to stakeholders. About you: + Master's degree in Data Management, Information Systems, Human Resources, or a related field. + Minimum of 5 years of experience in data governance, data management, or a related role within an HR context. + Fluent in English – verbal and written. + Proven experience in developing and implementing data governance frameworks and policies. + Understanding of data privacy laws (e.g., GDPR), regulations, and best practices. + Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data issues into actionable solutions. + Experience with SuccessFactors data model and security concepts, MS Azure, and data visualization tools such as MS Power BI + Knowledge of statistical languages like R and Python is a plus. + Detail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy and quality. + Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously. + Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
