At Morgan Philips Executive Search, we are seeking a People Director for a top-tier multinational company recognized as a leader in its industry. Reporting directly to the International HR Vice President, this role plays a pivotal part in shaping and executing HR strategies and policies tailored to the specific needs of the Spanish subsidiary. The position encompasses full responsibility for HR operations, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, labor law compliance, and the design and implementation of HR initiatives that align with business objectives and promote a supportive, dynamic workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and align the subsidiary’s HR strategic plan with local business priorities. Direct and oversee the performance of the country’s HR team. Assess organizational HR needs and recommend practical, impactful solutions. Drive the organization’s culture and core values throughout the subsidiary. Manage global and local coordination of the compensation framework. Contribute to the creation and execution of HR policies across areas such as Recruitment, Learning, Development, and Internal Communication. Lead the international training strategy and leverage coaching as a key tool for employee development. Ensure adherence to legal requirements and address HR-related legal matters. Oversee employee compensation, benefit programs, and incentive structures. Monitor the effectiveness of talent development processes and identify growth opportunities for employees within the subsidiary. Strengthen and maintain the subsidiary’s employer branding. Guarantee compliance with labor laws and collective agreements. Provide guidance and support to key stakeholders on HR matters. Enhance employee engagement and foster a positive workplace experience. Collaborate on cross-departmental and international HR projects to align with broader organizational goals.
Candidate Requirements: University degree. At least 15 years of professional experience, with at least the last 5 in a similar role. Consolidated experience in multinational companies with matrix structures. Strength in experience and knowledge in the soft and hard aspect of HR. Proficiency in English (high level required). Residence in Madrid.
