People Experience Associate, Czech Republic

We’re looking for a candidate strongly motivated in taking a meaningful experience in the Human Resources area, able to cope with the complex organization in the challenging environment of a multinational pharmaceutical company.

We’re offering a temporary position for a period of a maternity substitution. The successful candidate will report to the People Experience Lead of the Eastern Europe Cluster.

POSITION SUMMARY

The People Experience Associate is responsible for ensuring the performance of new and core HR programs within the Czech organization, following the global guidelines. The primary focus will be to support organizational change initiatives, advise & coach managers on HR strategies & programs and ensure global & local programs and processes (e.g., performance management, compensation cycle) are delivered are aligned with business strategies, HR priorities and local legislation. Typically, key focus areas are: well-being, transformation & organizational changes, talents growth, colleague engagement & communication, D&I, employee relations, compliance with local legislation.  

He/she will work in close partnership with Candidate Experience, Global Compensation, GBS HR Core Services and Payroll, and the Eastern Cluster People Experience team.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Supports the execution of HR processes and programs (performance, compensation processes, career management), oversees in alignment with global and country practices, provides timely and effective coaching.  

Supports the implementation of global and local HR initiatives.

Acts as a liaison for Candidate Experience, Global Compensation, GBS HR Core Services & Payroll and ensures client alignment

Understand the business and support in implementing key human capital strategies/tactics that further support the business objectives.

Promote company culture

Supports on-going review of HR processes, identifies opportunities for continuous improvement, makes recommendations and implementation, in partnership with the People Experience regional team.

Ensure compliance with local regulatory / labor requirements and internal corporate guidelines by maintaining the appropriate tools and controls.

On-boarding of new hires.

Maintenance of HR vendors contracts, HR policies, labor law documents and templates to reflect legislation changes.

Complete administrative tasks relevant to Pos and invoice allocations of HR services.

Cooperation with Finance mainly for the Accrual of the Annual Performance Bonus.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s Degree. 

Strong motivation for growth in the HR area.

Previous HR experience is considered an asset.

Strong written and verbal communication skills. 

Ability to work with Office suite. (word, excel, powerpoint).

Possesses a positive, continuous improvement mindset. 

Nice-to-Have 

Knowledge of Labor Law and Regulatory framework of Czech Republic.

Be a self-starter, be accountable and have a sense of urgency in delivering results.

Fluency in speaking and writing Czech and English.
