The Role:
We are looking for an experienced People Advisory Senior Specialist to join us on this transformation journey. Reporting to the People Advisory Manager, this role will be instrumental in managing complex employee relations cases, ensuring compliance with HR policies, and driving strategic HR initiatives. As a key advisor to both HR teams and business leaders, the role will oversee case management, policy development, and stakeholder engagement to enhance overall workforce management and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Complex Case Management:
Directly handle and resolve complex, high-risk employee relations issues, serving as a senior-level advisor for sensitive cases that require nuanced judgement and confidentiality.Act as the first point of escalation for People Advisory Specialists before matters reach the People Advisory Manager, ensuring effective resolution and minimal escalation.Quality Assurance and Case Review:
Regularly review and audit case files and resolutions proposed by People Advisory Specialists to ensure consistency, compliance, and excellence in all HR practices.Provide constructive feedback and guidance to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the HR advisory services; including process improvements and working with HR and business stakeholders on those changes.Policy Development and Implementation:
Lead the updating and creation of new HR policies and procedures, ensuring they reflect current legal requirements and best practices.Facilitate the roll-out of new policies and programs, conducting training sessions and workshops to ensure comprehensive understanding across the organization.Strategic HR Initiatives:
Collaborate with the People Advisory Manager and HR leadership to develop and implement strategic HR initiatives that align with long-term organizational goals.Analyze HR trends and metrics to recommend practices and strategies that improve overall workforce management and satisfaction.Leadership and Team Development:
Mentor and coach People Advisory Specialists and People Services Associates, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development within the team.Organize regular training and development sessions for the HR team to ensure skills and knowledge are up-to-date and aligned with industry standards.Stakeholder Engagement:
Strengthen relationships with internal stakeholders by providing expert advice and regular updates on HR developments and how they impact various departments.Engage in meetings and discussions on ER case management strategy, presenting HR insights and aligning HR strategies with business objectives.HR Projects and Change Management:
Lead HR Advisory projects from a technical perspective, and oversee the communication and implementation of change, ensuring that HR initiatives are seamlessly integrated into the organization with minimal disruption.Skills & Qualifications
