The People Operations Analyst will focus on reporting, dashboarding, and turning complex data into actionable insights. You will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and presenting people-related data to uncover insights related to recruitment, onboarding, development, engagement, retention, and overall employee satisfaction. The role will create compelling narratives that drives decision-making at all levels of the organization. The ideal candidate will have deep experience with HR systems like Workday and a proven ability to thrive in large, complex environments.
This position offers a hybrid work option. Nelnet values flexibility and understands the importance of work-life integration. Our hybrid work environment allows associates to work remotely for part of the week, while also fostering collaboration and team connection through in-office presence three days a week.
**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Design, develop, and maintain advanced dashboards and reports that provide insights into the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance, engagement, DEI, retention and offboarding.
+ Analyze key employee experience metrics such as engagement scores, employee satisfaction surveys, and feedback data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
+ Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations to improve both employee lifecycle processes and the overall employee experience.
+ Regularly audit and validate employee data to ensure accuracy and integrity in all reporting and analytics efforts.
+ Provide insights and recommendations on the effectiveness of HR initiatives, including onboarding programs, employee engagement strategies, and diversity and inclusion efforts.
+ Support leadership with ad hoc reports and deep-dive analyses focused on improving the employee journey and experience across the organization.
+ Continuously improve analytics and reporting capabilities to align with organizational objectives and evolving HR best practices.
+ Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in employee experience and lifecycle analytics to drive innovation in reporting.
**Education:**
Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Sytems, or a related field. Alternately, certification in HR Analytics or Data Science.
**Experience:**
-2+ years experience with data visualization tolls like Workday Prism, Power BI, Tableau, Excel (advanced level).
-Experience developing HR metrics and key performance indicators
-Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

+ Ability to tell a story with data and communicate insights effectively.
+ Superior verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate with individuals at all levels in the company in an articulate, professional manner.
+ Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
+ Effective ability to represent insights in PowerPoint, Excel, and other software packages to produce high-quality presentations.
+ Capable of independent problem-solving.
+ Attention to detail is a must.
Compensation range for this position is $75,000 to $110,000 depending on experience.
