The People Operations Coordinator provides essential administrative support to the People Team, contributing to a positive employee experience through efficient processes and accurate record-keeping. This entry-level role involves a variety of tasks, including supporting permanent transfer offers, managing the company intranet, publishing employee newsletters, assisting with compliance activities, and providing general administrative support. A basic understanding of working within a global organisation, including diverse cultural norms and varying legal requirements, is beneficial.
Job responsibilities People Team Administration: Provide general administrative support, includingscheduling meetings, managing correspondence, preparing basic reports, andordering supplies. Special Projects: Participate in special projects as assigned, such as Peoplesystem implementation or process improvement initiatives. Compliance: Support compliance activities, including maintaining requireddocumentation and learning about relevant labour laws and regulations. This involves staying up-to-date on changes in employment law and assisting withinternal audits. Intranet Management: Maintain and update the company intranet, ensuring People Team information, policies, and resources are accessible to employees.This includes updating content, formatting documents, and collaborating withother content owners. Newsletter Publishing: Create and distribute employee newsletters, including gathering content, formatting the newsletter, and managing distribution lists. Permanent Transfer Support: Assist with the administrative aspects of permanent transfers, including preparing offer letters, coordinating relocation logistics (if applicable), and ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed. This involves collaborating with different departments and locations. Job qualifications Technical Skills HR Systems: Experience with HRIS/People systems, preferably Workday. Global/European HR: Basic understanding of working in a global company and European People practices. Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Romanian. Organisation: Strong planning, organisation, and time management skills; ability to work with documents and follow instructions. Analytical Skills: Ability to gather, classify, and interpret information. Adaptability: Adaptable to changing work tasks. Professional Skills High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degreein Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Strong interest in pursuing a career in People Operations. Basic understanding of HR/People best practices and employment laws is a plus. Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Forms, Gmail, Drive). Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proactive and eager to learn.
