Right now, we’re looking for a People Operations Manager to join our People team.

Reporting into the Director of People & Culture, you’ll play a key role in managing the day-to-day operations of the HR function, with a focus on creating a seamless, end to end employee & worker life cycle. You will work closely with People Managers and other cross-functional teams to ensure our people operations are effective, compliant, and aligned with our company values. Supporting both our salaried employees and remote worker team, this is a hands-on position that requires a blend of operational expertise and people-centered thinking. What you’ll doEmployee life cycle managementCo-ordinate the selection and recruitment of top talent for salaried and variable roles, managing the end to end candidate journey and holding interviews Develop strong relationships with hiring managers to fully understand resourcing needs and collaborate with them on the hiring process Deliver a smooth and engaging onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they feel welcomed and supportedManage offboarding and exit processes, conducting exit interviews and ensuring a positive transition for departing employees.People Operations Strategy & Process Optimisation:Drive continuous improvement of people operations processes, policies, and systems to ensure efficiency and scalabilityDevelop and maintain HR policies and procedures in line with legal compliance and best practicesEmployee Relations & Engagement:Partner with line managers to provide guidance on basic UK ER issues (eg performance management, absence), flagging and escalating issues where necessaryWork with the People team to identify trends in employee engagement and performance, and develop actionable insights to drive employee satisfaction and retentionCollaborate with Line Managers to deliver an engaging and impactful L&D program to maximise engagement and performance Data-Driven Insights & Reporting:Analyze and improve the approach to people metrics to inform decisions and strategiesOwn and optimise the people budget for the remote worker team, tracking and maximising productivity and output What we need from you3+ years of experience in HR/People OperationsStrong knowledge of HR best practices, UK employment law and people management toolsExperience using and leveraging an HRIS Excellent problem-solving, organisational, and multitasking skillsAbility to manage competing priorities and handle confidential and sensitive information with discretionStrong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organisationProactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a teamKnowledge of performance management, compensation planning, and benefits administration is a plusWhat you’ll get from usA supportive, inclusive culture; we care about each other, our customers and our planetTwo uninterrupted hours a week dedicated to your personal developmentThe flexibility to get that perfect work/life balance with hybrid workingPensionCycle to work schemeGym schemePrivate medical insurance Employee Assistance ProgrammeFree lunch from JustEat for Business each day you’re in the office Regular social events Enhanced parental leave Join us at our bright, spacious open-plan office.
