Your Role at Delta Faucet

Delta Faucet Company has an opening for a People Operations Manager at our Greensburg, IN site. This is an opportunity to work in a growing, dynamic manufacturing environment with a workforce of more than 300+ employees. The People Operations Manager plays a meaningful role in crafting a positive employee experience with ethical and professional behaviors, processes and procedures while demonstrating our core values - people, credibility, high performance teams, innovation, and customer focus.

Reporting to the Regional HR Partner, this role is a strategic business partner to site leadership and employees at all levels to deliver high quality, efficient people services.

Responsibilities

Provides HR expertise while operating within established policies and practices.Provides leadership for overall ethics and HR compliance programs; ensures processes and policies are in compliance with local, federal and company employment regulations.Partners with HR Centers of Excellence and the Site Leadership team to understand and execute the organization's human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.Develops strategies for and raises the talent bar through recruiting, interviewing, and selecting skilled employees to fill open hourly positions including identification and performance of local temp labor agencies.Promotes a positive and inclusive employee experience by leading the development and execution of site communication, engagement and retention plans, along with community involvement activities.Ensures employee experience aligned with business objectives and productivity needs.Investigates, advises, and coaches site leadership on appropriate resolution of employee relations situations, while proactively implementing measures to minimize such issues; serves as an escalation point on employee relations matters.Leads team resources, priorities, and work assignments.Leads special projects in collaboration with cross-functional HR team members.Domestic travel is required +5%.Commitment and flexibility to support employees across three shifts.All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and Experience: A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a related area. 5+ years Human Resources leadership experience with prior experience supporting large hourly workforces (manufacturing, distribution operations).Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to efficiently connect with all levels of an organization are required.Quantitative and data-driven with strong business and financial acumen; able to draw insights from data and make strong intuitive decisions when data is imperfect or unattainable.Solid understanding of trends, legal and regulatory compliance affecting human resources.Strong problem-solving skills, independent decision-making, and management of conflicting priorities in a fast-paced evolving environment.Demonstrable ability to influence team members to establish innovative HR solutions in alignment of DFC’s talent programs.Active listening and interpersonal relationship-building skills.Understand and maintain confidentiality requirements.Strong computer and Microsoft Office skills and experience with communication software.
