People Operations Officer Job ID 86562 Posted 03-Feb-2025 Areas of Interest People/Human Resources Location(s) Hong Kong - Hong Kong **What you will be working on:** + Support People related transactions and inquiries from employees via ServiceNow to ensure KPI and SLAs for Employee and Manager requests are delivered effectively whilst meeting all in Country regulatory and compliance requirements + Acts as an escalation point to the PSC team, driving best practices to mitigate and resolve issues and identifying root causes and ensuring timely resolution + Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements, evaluating and enhancing processes to drive efficiencies and make recommendations for continuous improvement. + Handle employee or Manager queries, advising on company policy and best practice, escalating to the People Business Partner as needed + Carry out timely and accurate benefits, payroll and leave administration + Partner and Support in Regional and Global People Platform projects through the provision of Country requirements and involvement in User Acceptance Testing + Maintain and oversee up-to-date SOPs, process flows, guidelines, and internal documentation, ensuring quality assurance and meeting customer expectations. + Manage projects from People Operations perspective to ensure timely launches of new services and programs + Collaborate closely with third-party vendors to monitor SLA achievements in support of total rewards, benefits and other administration processes, providing feedback and suggestions for improvement as needed + Working closely with PSC Payroll team to ensure payroll data accuracy, reliability, confidentiality, timeliness and completeness + Ensure reporting is compliant with Country required statutory and regulatory reporting, including Corporate Governance activities, such as FCPA audit + Oversee compliance with internal controls, identifying and mitigating potential gaps and risks to include audits, meeting SOBC standards, managing reference and background checks **To succeed in this role, you will ideally possess:** + Bachelor’s degree with minimum of 5 years’ experience in People Operations or a similar role + Strong understanding of HR Processes, payroll operations, employment laws and regulatory compliance + Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, including the People Service Centre (PSC) and third party vendors + Strong focus on delivering high quality support and maintaining positive relationships with employees and stakeholders + Forward thinking, proactive, driven and resourceful team player who is also able to work independently under high pressure situations + High levels of discretion, confidentiality and ability to exercise sound judgement (demonstrate critical thinking) and decision making + Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle complex situations with professionalism + Proficiency in HR Systems and tools (i.e. ServiceNow, PeopleSoft) When you join CBRE, you become part of a global leader in commercial real estate and investment services that help businesses and people thrive.
