When candidates become SumUppers our Employee Experience team makes sure they have an engaging work environment where they feel comfortable to experiment and innovate. Alongside our People Development team, they guide SumUpers through their learning journey, allowing them to unlock their full potential.
What you’ll do:
Responsible for all aspects of end to end employee lifecycle - including onboarding, benefits administration, offboarding, etc. for all employees across Germany Liaise with internal stakeholders such as People Partners, Payroll Partners, Finance, Legal, IT, Works Council, etc. Guidance & consultation on employee matters like parental leave, maternity leave, benefits, relocations & transfers etc. Handling complex termination, relocation, and cases independently Play an active part in defining and implementing people related policies and processes Prepare and process data and documentation related to Onboarding, Terminations, Absences, Disciplinary procedures and any other information concerning the employees Monitor all employee changes, make sure they are reflected on our HRIS and precisely executed Ensuring records, contractual changes, and other people related documentation are processed & up-to-date Continuously challenging and improving the processes to ensure the best employee experience Supporting and guiding junior colleagues/interns/working studentsYou’ll be great for this role if:
You have previous experience as Human Resources Specialist, Generalist, Administrator, or similar You have strong Labour Law knowledge in Germany You are fluent in German and English Ideally experience working with Works council but not a must You have worked with HR systems, preferably workday You are an excellent communicator with active listening and interpersonal skills with a high-level of collaboration in- and externally You love working with people and care about great employee experienceWhat would make you successful at SumUp?
