Your Role at Delta Faucet

The People Operations Partner will support all hourly routine functions of the Human Resources (HR) department including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay progressions, benefits, and leave, enforcing company policies and all employee relations activities. The People Operations Partner is responsible for delivering high quality and efficient customer service. The incumbent will serve as the primary contact for hourly employee relations issues.              

Responsibilities

Leads the talent acquisition hourly process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants, for all hourly roles; collaborates with departmental Group Leaders to understand skills and competencies required for openingsExecutes hourly onboarding, job change and separation processesExecutes hourly new hire orientation and recognition programsEnsures the consistent application/execution of HR programs and processesExecutes programs in support of talent acquisition, onboarding, development, training, performance management and communications, for hourly employees at the siteEnsures that career and life cycle changes are accurately executed in the HRISPartners and coaches Group Leaders in appropriate resolution of hourly employee relations issuesResolves employee dissatisfaction by investigating complaints and concerns; evaluating and offering possible courses of action; providing advice, guidance and directionResponds to plant manager, management team and employee inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs for hourly employeesSupports and applies lean manufacturing programs and actionsPlans and administers employee appreciation events and service award programs for the siteMaintains compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations.

Qualifications

Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required, and a minimum of three years of human resource experience preferredPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly desiredExperience in a manufacturing requiredStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to effectively handle problems that are variedStrong communication skills including the ability to communicate at all levels of the site, and maintain confidentiality is requiredStrong process orientation, organized and responsiveThis individual needs to have the ability to get along with diverse personalities, while being tactful, mature and flexible. Ability to work flexible hours as needed, to support 2nd and 3rd shiftDomestic travel up to 10%
