JOB PURPOSE

An exciting opportunity to join our EMEIA HR team, As the People Partner for France you will be responsible for all HR generalist activities. You will work closely with the wider HR team across EMEIA as well as our central HR services teams to support and drive our people agenda. 

 

Reporting to the local HR Business Partner you will;

Advise on policy and aligning the business to existing and new HR initiatives. Manage ER casework as required, including consultation, grievances, disciplinary, performance management, absence management and settlement agreements, escalating to more senior members of HR and/or the CoE as required. Coach and support line managers to drive capability of core people management across the relevant market; this may include training and briefings on policies, procedures and guidelines. Work with the business to define and roll-out local guidelines and procedures, where required, working closely with the Employee Relations team to ensure alignment with corporate approaches. Support and coach line managers within the designated client group on operational HR issues ensuring that high quality, appropriate advice is given on.  This will include absence management, in particular in cases of long term absence; utilising the external Occupational Health provider and Corporate Health and Safety Manager as appropriate. Support the HR Business Partner in partnership with Finance to track actual spend against forecast on a monthly basis using knowledge of new starters, leavers and employee changes within designated client group. Prepare business justification/rationale for headcount expenditure which is outside of budget. Support the HR Business Partner to implement organisational design initiatives and change. Support the HR Business Partner in negotiations/consultations with the trade unions or other relevant labour organisations Carry out monthly people review with leaders

 

 

PERSONAL PROFILE

Proven experience in generalist or HR Advisor Strong customer orientation and commitment to delivering high levels of service. Ability to build relationships and trust across the organisation   Strong interpersonal skills to influence and educate business leaders across all levels within the company to make the best people decisions to support the interests of the individual and business at all times.  Ability to interact, advise and challenge on service resolution Possess and develop a clear understanding of all HR processes and their application Skills and experience in data analysis and interpretation
