People Readiness, Change Management Expert, APAC

As a Change Management Expert, you will be responsible for supporting the people-centric aspects of organizational transformation and change initiatives. You will work closely with the People Readiness Leadership team and key stakeholders across the organization to ensure that the people within the organization are engaged, empowered, and equipped to thrive in the future state.
As the Change Management Expert, APAC you will be responsible for supporting the Data Workstream strategy and supporting initiatives by applying change management methodologies, communication planning, and organizational readiness support to PPG’s Transformation. In addition, you will have responsibility for supporting creation of the training strategy, plan and execution for data readiness scope within the program.  You will be responsible for supporting the APAC region execution of change management activities to foster strong relationships between the Connect PPG organization and its stakeholders. This role requires stakeholder partnership and collaboration abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
Assessing and understanding the current state of the organization’s capacity for change and identifying the gaps and opportunities for improvement
Identification and analysis of change impacts related to the APAC region
Designing and delivering effective communication and change management plans that foster transparency, collaboration, and feedback
Change strategy and consulting support for APAC region
Establishing and executing change tactics to support overall regional change needs, including but not limited to:
Supporting and executing people readiness objectives that enable PPG S/4 Transformation
Introducing and driving adoption targets of new data standards and processes
Support Activation and adoption of a new system changes for PPG

Increased leadership responsibilities, and/or increased specialization. This level would be more involved in internal discussion with the change team's leadership; asked for input from their team or area of specialization
Conducts thorough investigations to identify key stakeholders impacted by the change
Determines appropriate timing of that change. Identifies potential challenges for stakeholders, such as skills gaps, doubts and uncertainties, to foster a positive acceptance of change
Tailors change management plans (training and mitigation) to accommodate the needs of the different stakeholder groups impacted
Leads by example, demonstrating commitment, professionalism, and strong work ethic
Fosters a culture of communication and productive work environment by promoting teamwork and effective communication
Completes tasks and responsibilities within a matrixed organization
Measuring and evaluating the impact and outcomes of the people readiness activities and interventions
Promoting a culture of continuous improvement and innovation by soliciting and incorporating feedback and best practices
Preferred Qualifications
Professional with minimum of 5-7 Years of relevant experience in change management and/ technology or business-related transformation support
A bachelor’s degree in business, technology, organizational change management, communications, or a related field
Professional Certification in Organizational Change management (Procsi, etc) preferred
Experience in cross-functional areas or participation of cross-functional initiatives
Exceptional written and oral communication skills — essential for interacting with key
stakeholders across the project, so as to manage, inform and influence successful program outcomes
Strong understanding of change management methodologies, approaches and tools
Good working knowledge of industry-standard project management methodologies
Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others
Self-driven with commitment to delivering high quality work in a dynamic fast paced environment
Interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels within the enterprise
Self-driven with commitment to delivering high quality work in a dynamic fast paced environment
High emotional intelligence and cultural sensitivity
A passion for people and a drive for excellence
English and Mandarin speaking abilities is a requirement
Additional APAC language speaking is an added advantage
Must have worked on global-based projects
